The inspiration behind this piece is a day-to-day moment: I was trying to teach my daughter how to count and I just had numbers on my mind that day. At that period of time I was exploring the circular shape and was curious to see how many circles would fit in one page. The answer is 13. I know it seems more, but if you follow the pattern, you’ll see it’s actually 13.
